Fit and sizing

How do I pick a size?

By chest girth, measured just behind the front legs. Not by breed and not by weight — weight is a tiebreaker at most. The size guide has the ranges and the method.

My dog is between two sizes.

Take the larger one. Four points of adjustment take up slack far better than they create it.

Can my dog back out of it?

Not if it fits. A dog escapes a harness that is loose at the girth strap, which is almost always a harness bought one size up without adjusting it down. Two fingers flat under every strap.

Do the boots size with the harness?

No. Boots size by paw width, separately. A large dog can have surprisingly narrow paws.

The harnesses

Front clip or back clip?

Front while the dog pulls — it turns them back toward you instead of letting them lean into the lead. Back once they walk quietly, so the lead is out from under their feet.

Which one should I not buy?

The Chalk cooling mesh, if your dog pulls hard — spacer mesh spreads load over a narrower area than foam does. And the Bonecut if you need a handle, because it does not have one. Both say so on their own pages.

Is the top handle strong enough to lift a dog?

On every harness in the range except the Bonecut, yes — it is sewn through both load-bearing layers. It is for helping a dog over a stile or holding it at a kerb, not for suspending it.

Will the print fade?

It is screen-printed into the outer webbing rather than applied as a film, so it does not peel. It will lighten slightly over a year of sun. The washed denim finish lightens noticeably over the first few washes and then holds.

Ordering and delivery

Where do you ship?

Worldwide. United States orders are $6.95 standard, free over $90, or $19.95 express. Everywhere else is $16.95 standard or $32.95 express. Rates show again at checkout before you pay.

How long does it take?

Orders leave within 1–2 business days. United States: 3–6 business days standard, 1–3 express. Rest of world: 8–14 standard, 4–7 express. Customs can add time we cannot predict.

Will I pay duty?

Possibly, depending on your country. Import duty and local tax are charged by your own customs authority and are not included in our prices.

Can I change or cancel?

If it has not shipped, yes — email the order number. Once it is with the carrier we cannot recall it, but you can return it.

Returns

Something does not fit.

Tell us within 30 days. Unused, in its packaging. Sizing is the most common return we get and we would rather swap it. Full terms in the refund policy.
